Tuesday, October 17, 12-1:30 pm | EdTech Routines and the Triple E Framework | Adult educators will showcase innovative Ed Tech routines they've developed during the B.E.S.T course. Be inspired by their creativity and see firsthand how technology can enhance your adult ed. classroom!

Thursday, October 19, 12-1:00 pm | Canvas Q & A for Administrators and Teachers | Bring any questions about Canvas to our Instructure guest expert to be answered during this session.

Thursday, October 19, 12:30-1:30 pm | The WRITE Stuff – A Writing Skills Course for English Language Learner Students | The Write Stuff is an online writing course in Canvas that is designed for Adult Education English Language Learners at Intermediate High and Advanced levels to improve their writing skills. The course has been updated and redesigned in Canvas with new content and activities to help students improve their writing skills.

Friday, October 27, 12-1:30 pm | Triple E Framework Course Orientation (Fall) | The Triple E Framework measures how well a tool or activity engages, enhances, and extends learning. OTAN has applied the Triple E Framework to adult education. This Fall course (repeated in the Spring) is designed to walk instructors through a process of designing lesson plans that engage, enhance, and extend learning for students.

Monday, October 30, 12-1:00 pm | Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lunch Break | This special session is designed for school staff and educators who are ready and curious to understand and discuss the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in our classrooms. As technology continues to enhance the education landscape, this group forum provides a platform for educators to explore, learn, and discuss AI concepts in their instructional practices.

Monday, October 30, 12-1:30 pm | Digital Learning Guidance Course: Harnessing the Power of Digital Teaching | OTAN has created an interactive online course that will allow you to dive into the California Adult Education Digital Learning Guidance (DLG). Crafted by experts to chart a path into the digital future, this seven-week facilitated Canvas course will delve into the DLG. Join this course kickoff – the course, including dates, times, and topics, will all be discussed at this first meeting of participants and OTAN facilitators.
