Early Bird Registration for CCAE State Conference Extended to March 29

The California Council for Adult Education (CCAE) is holding its annual conference External link opens in new window or tab in Sacramento, April 18-20, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel.

As many in adult education field already know, with over 3,800 members, the CCAE is the largest professional organization serving adult education in California. CCAE is unique in that it serves all levels of the adult education family including teachers, classified employees, students, and administrators. Mann, who was Chief of the Division of Adult Education with the Department of Education from 1934 to 1956, is generally credited as being the driving force behind the founding of the CCAE during the school year of 1943–44.

You are cordially invited to attend the CCAE State Conference 2013: California's Gold - Adult Education, April 18-20, 2013 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento, CA.

CCAE 2013 speakers and presenters will guide participants as they celebrate the luminous 158 year history of adult education in California. Participants will mine ore from the depths of the current adult education system of delivery and stake their claim to a strategic plan for the future of the Adult Education Gold Mine. Adult education students, fresh from the mine, will share tales of education and training that fills their poke with valuable nuggets of solid education gold.

It has never been more important to gather in person with fellow miners to share best practices and trace promising veins to the future of Adult Education.
