CCAE Kicks off 2009-10 Professional Development Schedule

The California Council for Adult Education (CCAE) has announced its new professional development schedule for the 2009-2010 GED® Academies which will be offered at Sacramento, the Bay Area, Torrance, and San Diego locations.

GED® Academy I is a workshop for new and experienced GED® teachers, pre-GED® teachers, adult basic education teachers, correctional educators, court and community school teachers who want to learn about best practices and resources that enhance GED® instruction.

The GED® Academy has been, for many years, the best resource for training GED® instructors and familiarizing participants with the content and strategies needed to successfully prepare adult student to pass the GED® exam.

Some of the comments made by participants about the GED® Academy:

  • "Having nstruction from highly experience trainers was invaluable"

In addition to the scheduled GED® Academies, there will be a special "Combination GED Workshop" in Visalia on November 20, 2009.
