March 1 — CCAE Bay Section Winter Conference and Excellence Awards
The conference will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. in the heated, newly refurbished assembly hall at Berkeley Adult School, 1701 San Pablo Ave., in Berkeley, California. Continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.

March 7-8- OTAN's Technology and Distance Learning Symposium
The symposium takes place March 7–8, 2014 at Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education and is targeted to California adult education providers, administrators, coordinators, and teachers who are planning for or are already implementing distance, blended, or online instruction, as well as integrating technology in the classroom.

March 8 — LA Regional Conference at CSU Northridge

March 20-22 — CUE Conference in Palm Springs
The upcoming Annual CUE Conference is March 20-22, 2014, in Palm Springs, California. The CUE Conference is the largest and oldest education technology conference in California, and among the largest in the United States. For 30 years, it has been the best value for educators, technology coordinators, administrators and those who are looking to see how technology can support student achievement.

April 12 — San Diego "Mini" Regional Conference
So many choices, so little time! That's the theme of this year's conference, to be held at the beautiful new facilities of the Rady School of Management at the UC San Diego campus. The keynote speaker is Keith Folse, author of more than 50 books on teaching ESL writing, grammar, and vocabulary. Other highlights include a workshop on effective job strategies sponsored by the conference organizers, the CATESOL San Diego Chapter. There will be publishers' exhibits, a poster session, and plenty of opportunities to present on topics relevant to K-12 and adult ESL. TESOL students are encouraged to participate and present. The chapter made every effort to keep registration fees for this great event affordable. Breakfast is included with registration. Parking at UCSD is free on weekends.
