A new "Innovation Forum" has been announced as a joint project of The U.S. Department of Labor, The Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE) and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

The forum, which will be known as Workforce3One, will serve as an e-learning, knowledge sharing Web space. It's primary goal is to encourage workforce professionals, employers, those involved in economic development and educators to contribute ideas and solutions to solve the challenges of helping job seekers, especially those less advantaged, develop the skills they need to meet the demands of today's labor market.

Workforce3One invites you to share any "innovations" that you are developing to help solve the unprecedented economic and educational challenges we are facing today in the United States. How can you get involved?

This information was originally announced in the October 13th, 2011 Issue of the OVAE Connection.  Go to Archives for past issues, as well as to subscribe to future issues.
