The National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL) is launching a blog, Literacy Now, to provide an opportunity for anyone engaged or interested in the cause of literacy to share information, news and insights. The blog will be updated weekly with postings from NCFL. Sharon Darling, President and Founder of NCFL, is hopeful that this blog will increase the capacity for the wider community to converse and share in order to help create a more literate nation. Currently, blog articles highlight the recent NCFL national conference where Pulitzer Prize winning writer and journalist Anna Quindlen was one of the keynoters.

NCFL’s Web site offers useful information and tools for literacy programs, including news, links to other resources for teachers and volunteers, advocacy information, and a national program locator.
